Q:When will my product ship?

A:Shipping times vary for each product and manufacturer. We try to have all in-stock orders ship to you with in one week (and faster if possible), but sometimes items are delayed beyond our target If an item that you order will take longer than the original estimate, we will inform you as soon as possible to let you know what the new estimated shipping date is. Please note furniture items generally take longer to arrive at your door than smaller items. Custom and made to order items by various vendors can take up to 3 weeks.

Q: What does shipping cost?

A: Maku Ecoshop offers flat rate shipping of $4.95 per order under $60 for orders over $60 we now offer free curbside delivery on all items shipping within the continental United States, with the no exceptions so go ahead pile it on!

Any additional services such as “liftgate”, “inside delivery”, “re-delivery” and “warehousing or stocking fees”, which are charged by the shipping company(s), will be the customer’s responsibility; Maku can not take responsibility for any charges that incur as a result of additionally requested freight services.

Q: What if my order arrives damaged?

A: Every shipment is insured in the unlikely event that damage occurs during transit to your shipping location. While cases are extremely rare, damages do happen once in a while. We request that you inspect your item(s) upon delivery. If your item(s) shipped via common carrier i.e. FedEx or UPS, simply refuse delivery and contact us immediately for a replacement. For LTL deliveries i.e. Yellow Freight, Con-Way, Road-Runner, etc., print “Damaged Upon Arrival” where you sign for the items and refuse delivery. After delivery is refused, we will file a claim and send you a replacement product. If the product is accepted and damaged, you will be responsible for filing a claim with the proper carrier. For damages unnoticed at the time of delivery, we require that you send us photographs via email within 48 hours, so that we can address and correct the situation. We will send out a new product or replacement part at our discretion. If your item arrives damaged and you do not wish to receive a replacement part or new item you will be responsible for returning the item and a 10% handling fee.

Q: Can I pick up my order from your warehouse?

A: Yes, Please let us know and we will make arrangements for your items to be available at our Carlsbad California warehouse.
